The purpose of the role
Under the supervision of the team lead, the incumbent of this role will be responsible for the reception and distribution of the merchandise. The person has to verify the accuracy of the received merchandise and follow up accordingly at the required time. Key responsiblities

  • Receive merchandise and verify the accuracy of the received items with the receipt;
  • Manually unload trucks in a safe manner ;
  • Lift and place boxes on pallets. Transport and place the merchandise at the designated location;
  • With the purchase order, open orders and distribute received items according to stores;
  • Make sure bar codes « SKU » matches with style, colors and sizes. Ensure a follow up with the team lead if not accurate;
  • Close filled boxes and send them to the scanning department ;
  • Fill a daily distribution report when the all received items are distributed;
  • Sort mails for the company;
  • Ensure cleanliness and order of the Distribution center and help other departments if needed;
  • Perform any other related duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma;
  • 3 months to 1 year of pertinent experience;
  • Versatility and ability to multi-task;
  • Excellent sens of organisation;
  • Precision and thoroughness;
  • Ability to lift boxes weighting between 25 to 45 pounds, on a regular basis;
  • Ability to make different movement such as leaning, staying up and crouching for long period;

Permanent, full time.
