Purpose of the position

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for the development, implementation, follow-up and optimization of online referencing for the three (3) banners of the company La Vie en Rose (la Vie en Rose, Bikini Village and Newex).

Main responsabilities

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of our sites in the SERPs.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes.
  • Work closely with the e-Commerce and Merchandising teams as well as the SEA campaign specialist to optimize performance with a view to increasing organic traffic;
  • Develop and implement local SEO strategies using platforms such as Google My Business or Bing Place.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush; Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management.
  • Work in collaboration with the copywriting team for the creation of SEO-oriented content and programming;
  • Work in collaboration with the Web team in the development of tree structures, wireframes and call-to-actions for an effective user experience (UX) (completion of customer objectives by the user).
  • Develop and implement machine learning (AI)-based optimization strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, algorithm updates, and SEO best practices.

Your Profile

  • Data analysis and critical thinking: You excel at interpreting SEO performance metrics and turning data into concrete, actionable insights.
  • Technical expertise and digital curiosity: You understand the inner workings of search algorithms and have a keen eye for identifying optimization opportunities—both technical and strategic.
  • Communication and collaboration: You're skilled at translating SEO concepts for cross-functional teams and enjoy working closely with e-Commerce, content, Web, and SEA teams.
  • Strategic awareness and drive for innovation: SEO is constantly evolving—and so are you. You're always on the lookout for trends, AI advancements, and algorithm updates to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Specialized Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce or Marketing or relevant experience in a related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in SEO;
  • Bilingualism - spoken and written (The person will have to do SEO research for the Canadian and American market);
  • High level of creativity;
  • Advanced knowledge of the following tools:
    • Google Analytics (Certification obtained - Asset)
    • Google Search Console
    • Ahrefs
    • SEMRush
    • Screaming Frog
    • GTMetrix
    • Google Merchant Center
    • Google Keyword Planner
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Be proactive and proactive;
  • Organized, able to manage multiple projects at once;
  • Problem-solving oriented;
  • Be on the lookout for the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing.
