The purpose of the role
The incumbent is responsible for coordinating a team of approximately thirty employees assigned to the evening shift. Together with the supervisor, he must plan, organize, and coordinate the replenishment as well as control the operations for the employees of the evening shift.Key responsiblities
- Jointly with the supervisor, coordinate a team of thirty (30) employees occupying specific positions for the preparation of orders for e-commerce and the replenishment of stores;
- Manage the preparation of orders and take the necessary actions to ensure shipment to customers;
- Ensure that daily priorities are respected;
- Actively participate in evening shift activities;
- Ensure the integrity of the inventory and the various related processes at the replenishment level;
- Act as responsible for the health and safety of employees under his supervision and promote its application;
- Ensure the effectiveness of the methods, processes and techniques used and suggest modifications if necessary;
- Put in place the necessary means to ensure compliance with quantities and delivery dates;
- Motivate, guide, supervise, train and coach the employees under his supervision;
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the distribution center;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Requirements
- Professional studies diploma (or equivalent);
- One to three years of supervisory experience
- Experience working in a distribution center or in web order preparation
- Good knowledge of the IT environment (Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing;
- Leadership and skills in personnel management;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time;
- Autonomy, thoroughness and sense of initiative;
- Functional English; The person must support stores across Canada.
- Available to work a Sunday through Thursday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to midnight.
Permanent, full time.
