Purpose of the job

The incumbent is responsible for developing training programs and training store staff on visual presentation standards and best practices, while representing the brand image of the different banners for the North Shore of Montreal and Montreal regions. He must also develop and maintain a partnership with store staff to improve the visual presentation of products, in accordance with the company's objectives and strategies, in order to maximize store sales.



Main responsibilities

  • Create training materials with the team of trainers to support the sales team in order to better guide them in the execution of their tasks in visual presentation;
  • Create training workshops corresponding to specific training needs;
  • Adapt in-store planograms to create an optimal shopping experience and thus increase profitability;
  • Collaborate with the visual presentation, sales and construction teams, participate in the development of planograms of new stores in anticipation of their openings;
  • Lead store openings by providing necessary training to sales teams;
  • Train regional sales managers on visual presentation so that they can in turn train in-store staff;
  • Support store staff in visual presentation;
  • Ensure good communication between the stores and the visual presentation department;
  • Maintain consistency across stores by ensuring that the brand image is well respected;
  • Provide constructive feedback and identify store needs to improve the visual presentation department's processes, training, and procedures.

  • Teaching and communication skills: You share knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm, tailoring training sessions to the specific needs of sales teams.
  • Eye for visual presentation: You have a strong sense of detail and aesthetics, essential to creating consistent shopping experiences that reflect the brand image.
  • Collaborative mindset: You enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams (sales, construction, visual presentation) to ensure successful store openings and operations.
  • Training leadership: You guide, inspire, and develop managers and store teams, equipping them with the tools to perform and pass on best practices.



Requirements

  • Diploma of Professional Studies in Presentation Design or equivalent;
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in visual presentation;
  • Presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Have a good sense of leadership;
  • Bilingualism (Spoken and written) (The person will be exchanging with stores outside of Quebec);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Strong sense of creativity and interest in fashion;
  • Availability to travel frequently;
  • Possess a driver's license and have access to a car.
