Purpose of the job

Under the direction du.de the IT Director, the Network Administrator is responsible for cloud infrastructures. He/she has the role of ensuring the proper operation, coordination and maintenance of networks, servers, software and cloud computing components. He/she will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, resolving incidents and acting as a support for his/her colleagues. He/she is a actif.ve participant in the evolution of technologies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages, maintains and monitors the network, cloud environments and internal and external infrastructure, while ensuring that the business impacts of its interventions are understood.
  • Ensures that cloud environments and internal and external infrastructures are stable and available at all times according to business priorities and that interventions meet established service levels (SLAs).
  • Participates in supporting users and IT colleagues for more complex problems or related to cloud and sometimes physical infrastructure.
  • Ensures the monitoring and performance of cloud and physical infrastructures, in collaboration with our partners.
  • Participates in the documentation of network systems, processes, configurations and operational security of the various environments.
  • Actively participates in the evolution of technologies, either by monitoring new technologies or by implementing recommended solutions, all while minimizing business and financial impacts.
  • Initiates, manages and communicates improvement projects for the various cloud environments.
  • Is responsible for updating licenses, software, domains and all other instances related to the company's information systems.
  • Is responsible for completing training related to his/her position, obtaining relevant certifications and staying up to date on cloud computing trends.

Your profile:
  • Technical skills : You have a strong background in systems and network management, particularly in a cloud environment.
  • Responsiveness and autonomy : You are able to react quickly to complex problems and work independently to solve them.
  • Rigor and precision : You are attentif.ve to detail and ensure the proper management of systems, configurations and documentation.
  • Proactivity : You are constantly looking to improve existing environments and integrate new technologies to optimize performance.

Requirements
  • 8 to 10 years of experience as a network administrator ;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent studies ;
  • AZ-900 certification;
  • AZ-103/104 certification (asset);
  • Knowledge and experience with the technologies listed below:
    • VMware vSphere and Azure hybrid environment
    • Management of systems and servers (2016–2025, AD, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, etc.)
    • Managing Backups with Veeam
    • Management of EntraID authentication services (SSO, MFA, PIM, Risk Management, Conditional Access)
    • MPLS, LAN, WAN, WIFI, VPN network
    • Security and fleet management tools such as McAfee Endpoint Security, Microsoft Defender Endpoint, Intune, Exchange Online Protection, ManageEngine DesktopCentral, Nessus
  • Participation in a cloud migration project (asset);
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French) both written and spoken (The person will have to deal with suppliers outside of Canada;
  • Ability to communicate, give feedback and translate computer language to users;
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to take initiative and be autonomous in delivering projects and completing tasks;
  • Be able to work on several files simultaneously, manage priorities and be comfortable in a fast-moving company;
  • Be on the lookout for technological advances;
  • Be available outside of normal working hours for support and maintenance.
