Purpose of the job

Under the responsibility du.de the Manager, Product Development and Quality Control, the candidate will be expected to work closely with all production teams and departments responsible for product development. The incumbent must ensure that the samples are properly logistic and maintained.



Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze procurement needs in collaboration with internal teams (including design) and make recommendations regarding products and sources of supply;
  • Conduct supplier research and benchmarking (costs, lead times, quality, availability) to guide purchasing decisions;
  • Participate in the selection of suppliers and the evaluation of their performance according to organizational criteria;
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for cost optimization, reduction of lead times and continuous improvement of procurement processes;
  • Coordinate sample-related activities from a product analysis perspective (validation, compliance, strategic monitoring);
  • Ensure the management and integrity of procurement data in internal systems (e.g., CANTO), including its analysis to support decision-making;
  • Maintain professional relationships with suppliers to facilitate the exchange of information and ensure business continuity;
  • Collaborate in the planning of supply needs and the follow-up of orders;
  • Produce and update reports, indicators and analyses related to procurement activities;
  • Support internal teams by providing strategic and analytical information related to products and suppliers.


Requirements
  • High school diploma or its equivalent;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position;
  • Attention to detail, attention to detail and interest in the product and visuals;
  • Outstanding organization;
  • Collaborative spirit;
  • Effective priority management;
  • French and English language skills required.


Working conditions
  • Permanent and full-time position (30 hours/week);
  • Annual salary between $55,000 and $60,000;
  • Performance bonuses;
